Metamorphosis

Snowflake from the sky
Deliver
Frozen fables
Make me shiver

Crystal water
Show your form
Will you change
When days get warm

Will you seep deep
Underground
Where more legends
Can be found

Will you absorb them
One by one
And store them for
Another sun

With that sunrise
Will you bring
A bubbling
Of newfound spring

From the depth
To me unknown
Push forth memories
Deeply sown

Lift as vapor
Rise again
Ancient tales
To fall as rain

If I stay dry
And miss the show
Forgive me still
For I am slow
